Principal Engineer – eVinci Reactor Integration & Analysis

This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in the Etna, PA facility. No relocaion is provided. No sponsorship available.


Your Day-to-Day:


  • Perform reactor design and integration activities across the eVinci program.
  • Facilitate decision-making to accelerate technical progress across the reactor design and analysis groups.
  • Identify and define technical issues, risks and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution.
  • Lead key technical teams, providing oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members.
  • Interface with stakeholders on design progress, technical issues, cost and schedule.
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners such as national laboratories, sub-contractors, partners, suppliers, fabricators, and customers.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changes in strategy, market, and design.
  • Work highly independently - not only mentor engineers but also effectively lead a team of engineers in the execution of complex tasks.

Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • BS in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering, MS in Engineering is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in reactor, system, or layout design preferred
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience required
