Engineer – eVinci Reactor Integration & Analysis

This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in the Etna, PA location. No relocaion provided.

Your Day-to-Day:


  • Perform reactor design using a variety of engineering tools and methods. Develop documentation related to these calculations and analyses.
  • Provide technical support in the integration of microreactor systems and components.
  • Work with cross functional teams (i.e. system and component design, layout, manufacturing, materials, etc.) to solve challenging technical problems to progress the eVinci microreactor design.
  • Interface with technical leads and project managers in coordination of activities associated with assigned work scope.
  • Occasional travel to vendors, contractors, testing sites, etc., as needed to support development activities.

Who You Are:



As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • BS Degree in Nuclear Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or recognized equivalent required
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Must possess analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail and excellent communication skills including technical writing
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks within an innovative development program
  • This position is based in the Pittsburgh area
