Supplier Quality Engineer
This position is part of the Supplier Quality NCE region located at the Ringkøbing Production Site to ensure the highest focus on quality, safety and environment, take actions in case of any quality problem at the production line related to purchase components by contacting suppliers and all Vestas stakeholders to ensure that problem is solved and will not be repeated.
- Ensure quality from suppliers for all production material groups used at the Vestas Ringkøbing site
- Handle non-conformance reports (NCR)
- Analyze and approve root cause analysis (RCA) provided by suppliers
- Implement corrective actions at supplier locations
- Lower the Cost of Poor Quality
- Interface internally with Regional and Global SQ&D, sourcing, and logistics teams
- Collaborate with external customers
You have an engineering or material science background as well as proficiency in applying advanced quality methodology. Solid working experience with demonstrated quality management and problem-solving skills can replace the need for a formal education. Prior exposure to the wind sector can be significantly beneficial. We also expect that you:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance and supplier management
- Are an internal auditor ISO 9001:2015 or assessor for VDA 6.3
- Have experience with ISO 14001 / 45001 or similar standards for EHS Management Systems is desired
- Are a Six Sigma Green Belt with Continuous improvement and DMAIC practice
- Have experience with stakeholder management as well as sound business understanding
- Are collaborative and thrive in a cross-cultural, international, and diverse environment
- Are fluent in verbal and written English

The primary work location is in Munkebo, Denmark.
The expected travel time is 15% per year.
