Mobility Specialist

Responsibilities
- Be one-point-of-contact between the organization and mobility matters on an operational level
- Assignment management: pre-arrival activities, start, ongoing & end of assignment stages
- Advising Expatriates: coordinate the assignee transfer experience from beginning to end. Provide assignee status updates, keep the employee abreast of issues and offer solutions as issues arise
- Interpret and apply Global Mobility Policies
- Manage and execute Payroll instructions
- Handles expatriate compensation and changes to Expat Components (assignment addendums)
- Execution of merit process for the applicable portfolio
- Policy Exceptions Level 1
- Vendor interphase with outsourced and in-house vendors (vendor authorization)
- Cost projections
- Reporting (based on business requirements)
- TPAs per country
- TPA: blue collar vs white collar
- TPA service vs construction
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Relocation Consultant or related mobility professional
- Fully outsourced international assignment management experience preferred
- Ability to identify potential problems and develop creative solutions
- Excellent listening and consultative skills
- Great interpersonal skills; ability to interact with individuals at various levels
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and adept at contributing to a team setting as well as initiating tasks autonomously
- Proficient in navigating tight schedules, juggling various responsibilities, and thriving in a high-energy workplace
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in an effective manner
- MS Office proficiency - Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and job-related systems
Competencies
- Able to handle several work streams at the same time
- Quick to adapt and absorb new knowledge and processes
- Able to maintain focus in a busy environment
- Confident Microsoft Office user, skilled Excel user desirable
- Good communication and presentation skills in English
