Vestas ANZ bid management team coordinates all construction related tasks for ANZ Sales projects during tender and contract negotiations. This includes engaging and coordinating inputs from key competencies such as Transport, Crane and Installation, BoP Engineering and Procurement, during all critical Sales Phases. The Construction Bid Management team owns and closes out all construction relevant annexures in turbine supply and EPC agreements. And here is an opportunity for you to join the team.

Responsibilities:

Supporting the Sales Team in pursuing new Sales Opportunities
  • Manage the ANZ Construction Bid team and provide leadership
  • Prepare and deliver responses to customer enquiries and due diligences
  • Reviewing Employer requirements and prepare RFQ responses with inputs from key competencies (BoP, TCI, Procurement)
  • Optimise customer and Vestas' construction business cases and enhance Vestas' competitiveness
  • Coordinate all construction associated inputs for tender responses and provide a cohesive constructable solution to Sales
  • Manage Early Work Agreements during Sales Phase

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science
  • Business or financial degree would be highly desirable
  • 5+ years' experience within the renewable energy business
  • Project Management of complex engineering systems would be highly desirable

Competencies :

  • Project Management of complex engineering systems would be highly desirable
  • Experience, working with and through external contractors
  • Preferably involved in the project execution of power plant solutions.
  • Experience in renewable energy is preferable but not essential
  • Very high level of Project Management and Commercial acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to negotiate large infrastructure projects
  • Manage and communicate Risks associated with Construction activities
  • Good stakeholder management skills
