Region MED / SBU MED Service / Special tasks Operations

The special tasks operation department take care of blade repair and main components repair up tower.


Responsibilities

You are the back-up of the Supervisor in field operations related maintenance task.


  • Follow up of Blade repair tasks.
  • Supervision of technicians in day-to-day activities, to ensure compliance with standards for scheduled/unscheduled activities.
  • Advanced level Blade wind turbine maintenance.
  • Documentation of turbine issues as required and enters data in company system such as observation in SF,SAP,...
  • Interfaces and manipulates turbine control and mechanical systems to safely conduct service and, or installation tasks.
  • Ensure that quality, costs and service delivery goals are met, based on the Service's needs and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas standards safety rules, procedures and processes (work permits, forms, security alerts, etc.).
  • High quality daily reporting and service documentation in Salesforce and other Vestas systems such as I-auditor in accordance to agreed reporting standards.
  • Provide training/coaching to technicians and operators in technical areas, operational procedures and safety practices.
  • Support supervisor for continuous evaluation and competence development of the staff
  • May contact with customers regarding completed and upcoming service and repairs (check in/out reasons)

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma (preferably mechanical or electrical) BZEE is a plus
  • Knowledge of composite materials
  • Technical English
  • Computer knowledge: MS-Office

  • Substantial experience or degree within Composite work, with significant experience at Vestas.
  • Recommended to have knowledge of and teaching experience with troubleshooting techniques, good problem solving skills, field training capabilities

  • Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement and delivering the right solutions
  • Ability to maintain an attitude that promotes a positive image to internal and external customers. Maintain a professional attitude even when problems and crisis situations arise
  • Good knowledge in local language and English

  • Driving license
  • Teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work at height and in confined environments
