As a BPM Project Controller you will be part of the Regional Finance team in region Northern & Central Europe (NCE), and you will collaborate closely with Construction Management, the wider finance team and Stakeholders across the company. NCE covers a significant number of countries. The offshore business has grown significantly and will continue the ramp-up to as we start to install the next generation of turbines across Europe.
In that context, the focus of this position will be on supporting the Construction organization with Budget tracking, forecasting, managing risks and opportunities, cashflow and financial reporting while maintaining a close contact with the Finance team.
The Construction controlling team is responsible for the financial control of all new Windfarms within the Northern and Central Europe region of Vestas

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and consolidate Construction Monthly Performance Reporting
  • Undertake month-end close activities related to construction financial reporting
  • Accurate financial management of the project budget, cashflow, revenue & Bad Debts along with comments and Variance explanations
  • Assist the Construction teams with reporting and prepare management/Steering group reports and adhere to Euro SOX compliance requirements
  • Support construction in the Quarterly, Full Year & Future Year forecasting process
  • Assist the Construction team on Business cases & cost reduction initiatives (e.g. crane cost, Labour, transportation costs)
  • Perform basic controlling tasks as needed (e.g. revenue and cost recognition and forecasting, oversight of the Availability Bonus/LD process)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration / Commerce / Accounting / Engineering or other related fields
  • 3-5 years Experience in a Project Management Environment

Competencies
  • SAP / ERP system knowledge and relevant experience
  • Good time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical ability & Financial Control Knowledge
  • Well organized and planning oriented
