Fully operational since 2010, the Nacelles Factory in Brighton proudly manufactures nacelles and hubs for wind turbines in 265,000 square feet of building space.

Join our production team and play a crucial on the assembly line to produce Nacelles. Nacelles is a 70-ton housing unit of essential components of a wind turbine like the generator, gearbox, and other parts. In this position, you will earn be tasked with assembling fabricated parts at designated floor stations. Utilize your skills in handling mechanical components and employ a variety of pneumatic and hydraulic hand tools and power tools to construct high-quality nacelle units efficiently.

This position is based in Brighton Colorado with a work schedule Monday thru Thursday 5:00PM – 3:30AM

Pay: $21.50 - $30 per hour (depending on experience)

What does a Nacelle Assembly Technician do?

  • Efficiently manufacture components utilizing both hand and power tools.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes, ensuring parts fit and are assembled correctly, including but not limited to bolts, screws, shafts, and bearings.
  • Achieve production standards for various tasks within the allotted time frame.
  • Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and/or removing them from the work area as needed.
  • Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes.
  • Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components.
  • Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product.
  • Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards of uniformity and quality.
  • Responsible for organization and cleanliness of working area
  • Follow safety guidelines to ensure your safety and those around you

What are we looking for in an Assembly Technician?

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • A minimum of one year of consistent employment
  • Familiarity with standard power and hydraulic hand tools.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
