Cost Analyst - Cost Modelling

You will be part of the Cost Management department in Global Customer Project Execution. We support the regions with recommended construction cost assumptions in cost models for quotations for the next generation of turbines. We are also the Customer Project Execution cost gatekeepers towards Technology when developing the next generation of turbines.

Responsibilities
  • Gather relevant cost data across regions, Technology, Procurement and Tools etc. for usage in cost models.
  • Develop and maintain cost modelling used in bidding, in close collaboration with our regions
  • Conduct cost analysis related to modular development and new turbine concepts, representing Customer Project Execution
  • Ensure that optimal design and product choices are made with the most accurate Customer Project Execution value chain cost data
  • Perform full Customer Project Execution value chain evaluation on cost out initiatives
  • Provide cost performance and analysis with holistic view towards the Global Customer Project Execution Management team

Qualifications
  • Master's degree within Business Administration or Industrial Engineering with a focus on business or finance and a good academic record
  • Ability to translate operational knowledge into financial consequences
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, but further experience being an advantage
  • Good stakeholder management at all levels of the organisation and the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues from around the world
  • Experience with maintaining an overview in highly complex datasets without losing attendtion to detail
  • Experience in presenting cost analytics in a clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders, including financial and non-financial audiences
  • It will be an advantageto have a basic understanding and experience with Advanced Excel, SQL and SAP Analytics Cloud
