WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER


The Philanthropy Campaign Administrator will provide direct administrative support to the Director of Philanthropy and the Senior Associate Director of Philanthropy for the Washington Business Unit. They will be responsible for a variety of administrative support tasks, which include calendar management, processing expenses, drafting meeting agendas, scheduling/coordinating logistics of meetings/special events, and tracking action items from committee meetings. They will use available systems and resources to maintain, track/research data, develop/maintain campaign library, and produce/review reports for Philanthropy leadership. They will provide guidance in satisfying administrative requirements based on extensive knowledge of policies and procedures. They will implement processes and practices to improve effectiveness. The Campaign Administrator will coordinate activities with multiple variables, set realistic deadlines and manage the timeline. They will communicate on behalf of supervisor with staff in various programs across the Conservancy, as well as with donors, trustees, and campaign consultants. They will effectively communicate or distribute campaign materials and information to assist staff in making decisions, solving problems, and improving workflow. They will perform administrative functions for the program, as required. This position may require some travel and working long, and flexible hours as needed. The work environment involves only infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.

The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication and collaboration skills and experience providing administrative support to a director or multiple directors. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Washington chapter 2030 Campaign, developing and implementing a plan to promote the campaign internally and among Washington trustees/volunteers.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience working in a non-profit or similar setting, ideally working on a fundraising campaign.
  • Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
  • Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people, both internal and external.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Commitment to equity and inclusion in both work and workplace, including acting in accordance with our Washington Equity Statement; be respectful of differences of identity and/or beliefs, and successfully work across those differences to meet work objectives.
  • 2+ years previous experience as Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Volunteer Coordinator, or experience working in philanthropy.
  • Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experiences are appreciated.
  • Ability to analyze information for the purpose of coordinating and planning activities and solving problems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, proficiency with managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results.
  • Experience interpreting guidelines to achieve desired results.
  • Experience working with a board of directors, donors, volunteers, the public, and/or all levels of staff.
  • Strong organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

SALARY INFORMATION


The estimated starting salary for this position is dependent on qualifications, experience, and location.

  • Salary range in Seattle: $62,400 - $69,000 annually
  • Salary range in other Western Washington State Locations: $ 55,000- $ 65,000 annually
