Registration Operations Specialist (Contract to start)
What to Expect
The Registration Operations Specialist (ROS) is responsible for all vehicle registration and related document handling for purchases in market. This role is expected to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, fleet, remarketing, service, and logistics to ensure a timely, efficient and smooth transaction for all deliveries within the region. While not the key focus of the role, the ROS will also be expected to interface with customers when necessary and ensure a high level of customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Manage all aspects of the vehicle registration process for customer and internal vehicles, including the Land Transport online system, number plate management, accurate calculation of local fees and charges, document generation and reconciliation of all related fees and payments.
- Manage the Certificate of Entitlement bidding and application process.
- Be the point of contact with the LTA and other relevant local authorities and maintain a strong working relationship.
- Work with outbound logistics team to coordinate all local vehicle movements while being the point of contact for local freight carriers.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and form generation in compliance with local vehicle trading regulations.
- Management and recording of IU device installations.
- Coordinate with Sales and Order Operations teams to process pre-delivery and delivery documents completely and accurately.
- Accurately submit, record and reconcile delivery related purchase orders.
- Enter information into the appropriate systems and distribute paperwork to designated recipients.
- Ensure data quality in Tesla’s record-keeping systems.
- Follow up on processing of required documents following customer delivery.
- Conduct all business dealings in a professional manner i.e. communication with internal and external stakeholders, compliance audits.
- Develop and implement local best practices for vehicle delivery planning and execution together with the Sales team.
- Work closely with service, logistics and fleet teams to facilitate seamless vehicle processing for all relevant usage.
- Participate in testing of new and updated forms and processes, supplying regular training to relevant teams.
- Support other areas of the business when request by local leadership.

- Administrative, Automotive and Customer Service experience highly preferred
