Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and deeply process oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing supply chain team. In the Logistics Coordinator role, you will manage critical domestic and international shipments to support Tesla’s vehicle service distribution in San Bernardino. To be a successful candidate for this role you should have a strong eye for detail, can provide quick and strategic solutions, adapt to sudden changes, manage difficult and complex challenges, and work collaboratively with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving operations for the warehouse and assigned regions, ensuring timely and efficient processes
- Manage documentation, including scanning and retention, and communicate shipment updates
- Schedule carrier pick-ups, monitor shipments in transit, and identify cost-effective shipping solutions to meet requirements
- Ensure proper labeling of hazardous materials, prepare Dangerous Goods (DG) paperwork, and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and vendors
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues related to booking, costs, and documentation
- Provide all required shipping documentation (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Manifest etc.)
- Work closely with corresponding Tesla Logistics Analyst– ensuring open communications, and a complete understanding of all internal processes and procedures
- Dangerous goods trained or certified, preferred
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to stand and or sit 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. with consistency every day
- Ability to work in weather conditions (for shipment audits)
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$27.45 - $40.36/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
