What to Expect
At Tesla, our Used Vehicle Intake Specialists will be the front line managing inventory coming into Tesla’s Used Vehicle Program. This position is responsible for ensuringall damage to incoming vehicles is accurately assessed and an estimate for the necessary repairs is generated. The position requires a significant amount of interactionwith Customers, Technicians, Used Vehicle Quality Specialists, Acquisition Specialist, and other internal teams. The ideal candidate will not only possessa customer service mindset, but also the ability to provide a basic level ofbody repair estimating experience. With excellence being the passing grade, your ability to produce results and find ways to drive efficiency will directly influence and support Tesla’s mission. To succeed at Tesla, you must have strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and hard working. You shouldhave a passion for sustainable energy and the ability to create exceptionalclient experiences. What You’ll Do
  • Identify vehicle damage via photos and determine repair parts, time and labor required to complete repairs
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding excess wear and tear charges and the vehicle intake process
  • Address any customer and internal requests promptly while providing exceptional customer experience
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to pivot responsibilities as needed to meet the demands of the business
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
What You’ll Bring
  • 3-4 years of body repair experience, or 1-2 years of auto damage appraisal experience
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Experience identifying after-market parts
  • Intermediate computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications (Office 365)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Valid driver’s license required

Expected Compensation

$17.48 - $54.72/hour, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
