What to Expect What You’ll Bring
The Recycle Roll-Off Truck Driver is responsible for operating a roll-off truck to service customers by picking up and transporting recyclable materials from Tesla to designated facilities. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, efficient route management, and excellent customer service skills.
What You’ll Do- Safely operate roll-off trucks to service various customer locations
- Utilize hydraulic lifting and unloading mechanisms to load and unload recyclable materials
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
- Ensure loads are secured properly to prevent accidents and spills
- Maintain accurate logs of routes, pickups, and drop-offs
- Handle recyclable materials in a manner that complies with environmental regulations
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements / Hazmat is a plus
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Stamina to work long hours, including early mornings and late evenings
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and compliance
- Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$38.10 - $46.56/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
