Our new Offshore Tools and Equipment Organization is now searching for an Equipment Product Owner to be part of planning the equipment roadmaps for the future.
How to contribute to our vision
The equipment Product and Project Management team has the responsibilities to define requirements for new equipment to be designed for a new wind turbine type. Further it is within responsibility to set direction for future turbine platforms to make sure the business demand is reflected into appropriate technology development and design concept roadmaps. The equipment roadmaps will secure the appropriate transparency to give a common direction for future equipment development and commercial planning.
As Product Owner you will collect and refine product requirements based on etc. feedback from operational use of the equipment, lessons learned and other experience from field use. You will also define and own the equipment roadmap for a given turbine module as well as link the equipment roadmap to technology development to secure timely and planned introduction. An important factor will be to drive cost-efficient requirement specification and find optimums on equipment coverage across new turbines. You will also facilitate the process around product requirement specification on new equipment with input from all relevant stakeholders. Additionally you will support in increasing the level of knowledge regarding use of installation equipment among primary users
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience within product development and/or Engineering processes preferably from the wind turbine business. You should hold an engineering degree or alternatively substantial experience from technical product management. As a person your take ownership over your actions and work. We expect you to have good communication and facilitation skills to secure involvement of different teams and departments cross projects and cross the equipment value chain. You are a dedicated team player who contribute to a positive and dynamic environment within the team. When given a task to perform, you think safety first. It is required to be fluent in English for this position.
