How to contribute to our vision
As our new Procurement Controller , you will work within the global Procurement Controlling team, which is responsible for all Business unit related matters regarding cost transparency on commodity, platform and regional level.
You will work within a Procurement Controlling Organization which is highly focused on delivering detailed and accurate support, ensures a smooth, seamless, and timely monthly analytics, controlling, and reporting process; making action fields transparent and enable decision making for Global Procurement organization.
At the same time, you will support with effective communication to ensure successful transformation. It is important that you are able to build trusted business partner relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
As a Procurement Controller you will focus on regular monthly PVO reporting & all PVO and Spend related reporting, needed Data Transformation, Data Updates and Cleansing and Reporting.
You will also need to provide hands-on support for AdHoc requests (in Excel or PowerBi). Optionally you can help the team developing our PowerBI Landscape and ensure Data quality and accuracy.

You daily work will be among top professional controllers and colleagues in Global Strategic Procurement in an exciting, dynamic and international development environment.

Additionally, your tasks will include but not limited to:
  • Ensure coherence with superior Controlling standards, policies, and procedures, while you also adopt respective processes.
  • Working in close collaboration with the Stakeholders in Procurement Controlling Organization and Global Procurement Teams to timely generate the monthly closing & PVO reporting and presenting to Management Team
  • Analyzes and evaluates cost structures, and builds, maintains and improves the depending cost accounting system.
  • Ensure planning, monitoring, and reviews of your assigned area of responsibility, and provide comments for Actual vs. Plan comparisons.
  • Supports accountable management in planning and calculating yearly budgets
  • Consolidate budgets, including top-down and bottom-up plans, and proceeds with revolving midterm plans, and periodic forecasts during the year
  • Monitor financial performance, provide KPI analyzes, and prepare and comment respective performance reporting and forecasts.
  • Carries out ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations.
  • Contributes to conceptual and project work related to controlling
  • Ensure proper cost controlling, and design and maintenance of underlying cost account systems with special focus on data structuring and advanced controlling and data analytic tools.
  • Responsible for data quality and transparency with the help of KPIs.
  • Drive the creation of new PowerBI reports and /or support with maintenance/update of existing PowerBI reports
  • Drive our data quality reviews in financial reporting
What you need to make a difference
  • Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics and Management, Business Management Administration, Industrial engineering or similar
  • Ideally, you have a minimum of 6 years of experience in controlling, consulting or procurement preferably from within the renewable energy sector
  • You have experience working with the Office Package, SAP, Power BI
  • You have excellent communication skills with a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • You can convert targets into actions
  • You have a result-oriented and hands-on approach to your job
  • You are self-driven
  • You have experience in stakeholder management
  • You have a strong and determined personality and a great engagement and enthusiasm
  • You are independent and can work in exploratory areas where no clear direction can be given
  • You have excellent communication skills with a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • You are strategic, proactive, and analytic in your approach, and you know how to handle a lot of data that will create the foundation for the rest of the organization.
