Siemens Gamesa have recently been on a journey transforming our HR and Payroll functions to align with our global strategy. In Denmark we will go live with a new payroll solution KMD Cloud by 1st November. As part of this we are now seeking Payroll Specialist(s) to join our growing HR Services team.
How To Contribute To Our Vision
In this position you will manage the preparation of the monthly payroll process in Denmark and is responsible for coordinating accurate employee data and the transmission of these in a timely manner. This position also manages the post payroll activities including audit evidence.
Working closely with the local and global payroll team, the focus of this role lies on updating and providing accurate employee data to ensure the quality of the payroll cycle in accordance with legal regulations, personal income tax and union regulations for Denmark.

Your Responsibilities Will Further Include
- Payroll controls in the KMD Payroll Cloud control center
- Vendor management KMD Payroll Provider
- Administration of Employees Choice, Vacation Law & Pension
- Administration of special tax scheme e.g., 27% tax rule
- Administration of Indirect Payroll cost e.g., AER, AES
- Enter or upload of manual input
- E-income reconciliation
- Post payroll reporting of split income to shadow payroll process
- Payroll Accruals
- Post payroll reconciliation
- Implement Local Agreements and Policies defining system requirement
- Audit documentation of area of responsibilities
- Define and implement end-to-end process for own tasks
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Experience with payroll software like KMD, SAP etc.
- Knowledge of employment and tax law, social security, governmental reporting and basic understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of Industriens Overenskomst and Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst
- Highly skilled in Excel, Macro and VBA programming
- Proactive, flexible, analytic, structured, compliant, with a can-do attitude
- Use and understand the value of working in a team and use of key stakeholders
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication styles for the appropriate audience
- Detailed oriented and accurate working style with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to set priorities and respect for the confidentiality of payroll information
- Legally authorized for employment in Denmark
- Fluent in Danish and English, verbal and written
In addition, it would be ideal if you have:
- Experience of working with an in-house payroll solution
- Experience with a HR/Payroll cloud solution such as Workday and KMD
- Experience of RIC / Audit
- Accounting experience
