Role Summary:

Rivian is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Remarketing team in Irvine, California. As a Remarketing Administrative Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth execution of our vehicle trade-in process. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including efficient lienholder payoff management, meticulous trade-in documentation, and strict adherence to compliance standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for seamlessly transferring completed documentation to our third-party resale partners.


The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in administrative tasks and a proven ability to meet performance targets. Experience within the automotive or technology industry is preferred. This role demands a proactive and solutions-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively to achieve department and company KPI goals

  • Obtain lienholder payoffs and execute payment on traded in vehicles.

  • Possess both strong and professional communication capabilities

  • Partner with Delivery teams on incoming trade-in documents

  • Execute trade-in documentation and ensure DMV compliance in all 50 states

  • Assist with auctions sales, maintaining transaction jackets, contacting finance companies for title follow up, processing reassignments, and auditing completed paperwork

  • Develop and maintain relationships across the organization; make yourself available to assist others with their initiatives and companywide goals

  • Be an agent of change that owns effective communication of company messages; ensures that the entire team is kept informed of the vision of our business

  • Create clear tactics and action steps when developing high level strategy, coach team to success through a combination of open questions, effective listening, and accountability to both goals and the team success

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience working with lienholders and DMVs in a dealership or automotive auction setting.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments

  • Multi-task in a high energy, fast-paced team oriented work environment

  • Prior experience with EV and Auto Ecommerce

  • Expert proficiency with Salesforce

  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite to create spreadsheets, documents and presentations

  • Ability and willingness to travel (up to 10% of the time)

  • Readiness to climb (literal & figurative) mountains to deliver the best trade-in experience on the planet


Pay Disclosure:
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $30.03-37.04/hr (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)

Benefits Summary:
Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
