EHS Engineer

SUMMARY
Hanwha QCELLS, a leading solar manufacturing company located in Cartersville, Georgia, is dedicated to creating a sustainable future through clean energy solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a EHS ISO 45001, 14001 Engineer to join our team and contribute to our commitment to environmental, safety and excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) management systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits and coordinate external audits for ISO certifications.
- Identify and assess EHS risks and opportunities, implementing appropriate control measures.
- Develop and review EHS policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementations.
- Monitor and report on key EHS performance indicators.
- Stay updated on changes in EHS regulations and ISO standards, updating systems accordingly.
- Manage EHS documentation and records to ensure compliance and traceability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related EHS technical field (relevant work experience may be considered as an alternate).
- Experience in generating, preparing, and writing reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Presentation and training experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
