As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data. You will work closely with our development and cybersecurity teams to ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based systems.
This role requires presence at our Phoenix, AZ location.
- Design and implement security controls to protect cloud infrastructure and data
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures for cloud environments
- Streamline security processes and tools
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches in the cloud environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies in the cloud space
- Provide guidance and training to team members on cloud security best practices
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are a plus
