Are you ready to power positive change?
Your Mission: As our Regional Sales Manager, Commercial for the Eastern Region you will be responsible for building channel relationships, managing expectations, driving value and ultimately delivering the sales plan at the distributor and installer level. The Eastern Commercial RSM will be focused on selling through these channel partners in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. A candidate residing and working out of this region is strongly preferred.

This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and has a track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
The ideal candidate will possess sound commercial and key account management experience coupled with a deep understanding of the PV industry and the distributed generation business. The candidate must be well connected with relevant stakeholders within the industry, particularly in their given region.

Strong interpersonal and internal coordination skills are also required as the role interacts with several internal functions including sales operations, legal, marketing, and logistics.

The Regional Sales Manager, Commercial will report directly to the Head of Program Management and Growth and will be a home-based remote position.

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change: Build the Maxeon Commercial Partner channel by adding new Partners (distributors & installers) each quarter. Show new Partners how the Maxeon Advantage can increase their sales and revenue. Train and enable distributor and installer teams with Maxeon sales tools, ensuring they can effectively communicate and leverage Maxeon's advantages. Continually work to increase the Maxeon share of account with each Partner. Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual new partner targets and partner sales targets .
Enter into Salesforce and track all Partner solar sales opportunities throughout the region, maintaining a clean and accurate sales pipeline.
Recommend and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing our share of market within the commercial distributed generation segment.
Maintain expert-level knowledge of market trends, regulations, and tariffs relative to the solar industry, particularly for their region. Ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Manufacturing Quality standards and regulations.

Your Toolkit: Skills That Make a Difference

Essential for your Success:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in PV or a closely related industry i.e., high-value products sold in the commercial segment, where products require installation from a professional and there is some element of after-sales support.
5+ years of sales experience with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets
Experience selling a premium product or service.
Strong business acumen with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel up to 60%

The US base salary range for this position is $108,000-$150,000 + sales incentives + benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
