Your Mission: As our FP&A Manager-Modco , based in Ensenada, Baja California and reporting to the FP&A Director, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Finance , your role will be pivotal in be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change: Strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities. Lead the preparation of annual budget (AOP/BOQ), forecasts (EOQ), and long-range financial plans (MYP) for Modco Develop and maintain financial models in support of the Quarterly and Annual forecasting process – including “what-if” scenario analysis. Prepare and communicate monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reports and provide insightful analysis on budget variances and expense trends, with an eye on influencing and driving Modco Ops decisions and behavior. Work with Modco General Manager and department heads to identify appropriate metrics to track and evaluate business performance. Work closely with other Operations FP&A team and Accounting to ensure that financials are healthy and are within external and internal policy standards. Provide analysis or explanation for any variance of actual expenses versus prior quarter actual spend and/or the current quarter’s AOP/BOQ/EOQ, and other analysis as may be required by management. Support Financial Statement Monthly Closing Activities and cycle review materials: Inventory reserves risk assessment Inventory flux analysis Income statement flux analysis Prepare and update weekly output and spending reports, supported with details and analysis. Support Quarterly Cost Roadmap – provide AOP/BOQ numbers and detailed supporting analysis for actual expenses as required by the cost roadmap owners. Attend and participate actively on cost roadmap meetings. Review Purchase Requisitions and Manpower Requisitions, Check requests and other expense documents for monitoring and control Modco spending. Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls and policies and procedures. Ensure adequate support to Modco Operations for any financial query, concern, and/or clarification. Enable to document business process and procedure to ensure compliance with SOX, controls (internal/external) and company’s policies and procedure. Enable to lead/support projects that will drive financial and process improvements. Other functions/tasks that will be assigned by the Director, Manufacturing Finance FP&A from time to time.

Essential for your Success:
We understand that everyone has followed unique career paths, gaining valuable knowledge along the way. Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes – apply anyway! Your experience is more than just a list of technical skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is a plus 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Flexible in working overtime and beyond normal working hours as the business demand. Willing to work on-site.

It would be Nice if You Have: Knowledgeable in Oracle and Anaplan. Excellent communication skills and can interact well with people from all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly on Excel and PowerPoint. Has the ability of communicating in English both written and verbal form.
