Are you ready to power positive change?

Your Mission: As our Senior Buyer, based in Binan, Laguna and reporting to the Senior Department Manager, Purchasing , you will will be responsible for market sourcing and benchmarking, order and inventory management, supplier management and improvement, and people/system management and development. This role supports company-wide cost reduction activities, ensures effective supplier management, and maintains uninterrupted supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, purchasing, and relevant industry knowledge, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and compliance.

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:
Market Sourcing and Benchmarking:
Conduct market and commodities analysis.
Perform supplier due diligence.
Engage in sourcing and benchmarking activities.
Support company-wide cost reduction initiatives.
Manage bidding and negotiation processes.
Review, process, and complete RFQs.

Order and Inventory Management:
Enroll suppliers and manage the i-Supplier process.
Create and manage purchase orders (POs), including obtaining approvals, monitoring delivery, updating promise dates, and cleaning up aging POs
Secure shipping documents from suppliers and coordinate with logistics for delivery arrangements.
Manage contract execution and internal/external audits.
Report on purchasing metrics and ensure no supply/service shortages.
Update PO accruals and prepare return-to-vendor documentation.
Review supplier statements of account and settle aging invoices.

Supplier Management and Improvement:
Conduct supplier qualifications, audits, reassessments, and disqualifications.
Manage supplier performance through scorecards, evaluations, business reviews, and improvement programs.
Facilitate supplier communication and change management.

People/System Management and Development:
Conduct training needs analysis and complete on-boarding/off-boarding programs.
Assist and align with superiors on departmental key results (KRs) and monitor their execution.
Plan for career development and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., SOX, OIM) and participate in cross-functional team activities.
Suggest system developments and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Maintain timely attendance and records as required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related fields Minimum of 3 years of Buyer experience
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
Excellent oral and written communications skills; able to effectively communicate with people from all levels and multi-cultures Basic skills in MS Applications (Excel and PowerPoint).

It would be Nice if You Have:
Experience in the semiconductor, solar, or electronics industries.
Strong presentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
Process and innovative thinking capabilities.
Certified internal or external auditor credentials.
