The ADAS AD team is currently seeking multipleTPM or Engineers to be responsible for research, development, integration, validation, and production of ADAS AD Hardware and software in factory and service environments. The position requires an experienced professional with a track record of successfully bringing innovative automotive ADAS/AD features and products into production.

Role Responsibilities:
- Work closely with company executives and engineering leaders to define and maintain ADAS AD development roadmap and rollout plan, with a focus on hardware quality, hardware software integration and release for factory and service, and customer satisfaction
- Create and own development and validation plans that align with internal customer needs, cross team integration points, and major company milestones, that can contribute to flawless release of integrated hardware software into factory environment and service
- Drive the definition and realization of ADAS/AD hardware software specifications, with creative ideas together with cross functional hardware software teams and external partners, to bring each ADAS/AD feature to the next level, providing a best in class premium experience
- Lead conversations through the complete lifecycle of hardware software product with in house development team and third party suppliers
- Lead assembly and plant quality issues related to ADAS components and features, and drive them to closure
- Perform integration tests, software verification, manufacturing experiments required to solve ADAS related issues in the plant
- Support new product launches, execute part concession deviations for ADAS components in the plant
- Manage supplier relationship with engineering, factory, service, purchasing, supplier quality, logistics teams to ensure seamless communication, and on time delivery with quality
- Identify and track cross team dependencies and handshake points, monitor status, help resolve issues, report, and fill the gaps
- Drive JIRA ticket issue resolution process, include triage, root cause analysis, countermeasure identification, verification, implementation, etc.
- Coordinate and contribute to engineering and manufacturing deliverables, including specifications, rapid prototyping, test plans, reliability testing, and engineering validation, production integration
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor in computer engineering, computer science
- 5+ years engineering or program management experience in automotive or technology development field
- Very familiar with hardware development lifecycle, reliability / validation tools and protocols
- Experience in project management; practical familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and ability to apply them where best suited.
- Excellent ability to understand complex technical systems and programs, articulate the information or issue in a simple way, and identify executables/deliverables efficiently
- Comfortable and excellent track record of influencing without people that do not report to you
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross team members from different time zone and different background to accomplish goals effectively and efficiently
- Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheet, MS Project,etc
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in computer engineering, computer science
- 3+ years of experience working with highly technical teams for OEM, Tier-1, or Autonomous Driving company
- Hardware Product Launch Experience with robotics, autonomous vehicles, or complex electromechanical systems
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the ADAS/AD hardware architecture and interfaces
- Experience in areas related to ADAS component testing and diagnostics
- Experience with component End of Line calibration and interface with manufacturing tools
- Solid background in in-vehicle networking protocols and architecture
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience of supporting hardware integration for manufacturing
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
- California (Bay Area) - $115,000 - $150,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
