Summary
The Senior Finance Manager will produce and manage the consolidated equity accounts for the US JVCo, and produce and deliver required internal and external reporting. This includes monthly financial data and analysis, as well as additional quarterly and year end requirements.
The US JVCo is a recently formed partnership in the US between the local US TopCo entity and a set of investors. The 80 entity legal entity structure includes 9 partnerships that hold a total of 22 projects and make up 2.4GW.
This position currently would have no direct reports.

Duties and responsibilities
Consolidated Equity Accounting
  • Produce monthly management accounts from a consolidated perspective for the US JV Co
  • Prepare and manage equity accounting for all entities within US JVCo relationship
  • Perform accounting under both US GAAP and IFRS standards
Financial Reporting
  • Prepare all required internal and external financial reporting.
  • Monthly financial reports include an unaudited trial balances
  • Quarterly financial reports include a full set of unaudited consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports, which analyze budget to actual figures.
  • Assist with the delivery of additional annual schedules.
Liquidity and Budgeting
  • Assist where necessary any supporting schedules for the annual budget and additional forecasting.
  • Work with treasury and wider finance team to manage cash flows through US JVCo bank accounts, and manage equity contributions to projects within the consolidated perimeter
Audit and other
  • Lead US GAAP and IFRS local audits for US JVCo – will be a first year audit.
  • Provide additional support in any other local or group audits by gathering PBC list items, explaining specific areas of query to the auditors, and performing any adjusting journals
  • Prepare policy documents and or accounting papers for equity accounting.
  • Help drive processes and improvements across the new US JVCo
Knowledge
  • The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment interfacing with internal teams, different time zones, and external clients.
  • Ability to produce consolidated equity accounting, required internal and external reporting, and analyses.
Qualifications
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Ability to organize workload and prioritize to maximum effect.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to recognize and question anomalies
  • Demonstrate excellent MS Excel skills
Experience
  • 8-15 years of experience ideally with renewable energy, project infrastructure and/or manufacturing experience
  • Experience of accounts consolidation
  • Experience of equity accounting
  • Experience of an accounting and reporting system
  • Experience of tax equity preferred

We offer
  • Competitive compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 annually plus a discretionary 25% on-target annual bonus.
