The Onshore Wind Intercompany Global Process Leader (GPL) will assume accountability, process ownership & execution for the intercompany accounting and closing processes. This individual will integrate and develop policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure Intercompany organization meets the accounting & reporting standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement business process guidelines, policies and controls, including establishing and maintaining intercompany standard processes as defined
  • Understand business process strategy & KPI’s, drive daily process management, and monitor KPI's to ensure process health
  • Evaluate service level from outsourced providers; approve any action plans resulting from critical service performance failures
  • Drive communication of business requirements, operational feedback and escalations
  • Act as strategic business single point of contact for Genpact, Renewables Leadership team and GE Controllers
  • Lead closing process to pass system edit checks and close intercompany issues while analyzing financial information
  • Drive intercompany disconnect resolution (DT/DF, Equity, Eliminations and Technical edits)
  • Lead implementation of intercompany process & system changes and monitor its efficiency & effectiveness
  • Challenge process & system deficiencies… drive simplification and continuous improvement
  • Assist with quarterly and annual closing responsibilities including preparation, analysis and consolidation of balance sheet; cash flow and supplemental reporting packages
  • Drive resolution of unreconciled accounts; review reconciled accounts for compliance with established criteria and overall quality
  • Maintain effective & efficient partnerships with auditors & other service providers

Required Qualifications

  • BA or BS in finance/accounting from an accredited college or university
  • Senior-level experience in a controllership & accounting
  • Intercompany expertise, experience with GE IBS process flow and issue resolution including new implementations & transitions
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and GE accounting policies and procedures in the areas of source to pay and intercompany
