Location: Remote, must work within a UK time zone (GMT) +/- 2 hours
Salary: £35,000 per year
Hours: 30 per week Monday-Thursday
(We operate a 4-day week at 30 hours with no loss of pay)

Responsibilities

Delivering High Quality Programmes

  • Lead the design and delivery of engaging online learning journeys, including creating processes that guide participants through each step of their training and foster engagement with the content.

  • Lead on the development and implementation of new systems and processes to streamline programme coordination and ensure an excellent participant experience.

  • Lead on the monitoring and reporting of engagement metrics including conversion rates; Gather, analyse, and interpret community data to measure impact, track engagement trends, and inform strategic decisions.

  • Support in the development and delivery of an access and inclusion strategy, ensuring the programme accommodates additional learning needs and fosters an inclusive learning environment.

Driving Engagement Across Programmes

  • Lead on the creation and delivery of a decentralised → centralised programme strategy which allows FoN’s theory of change to be realised in many different communities, in various engagement formats

  • Lead on the creation of processes and systems for regular communication and check-ins with programme participants, incorporating a mix of automated workflows and personalized touchpoints.

  • Lead on the monitoring and enhancement of participant engagement metrics, using insights to iterate on learning journeys and community engagement strategies.

Community Coordinator Cover (first 6-9 months)

  • Lead on the coordination of our in-house programmes; Scheduling programme-related calls; Manage spaces and discussions on our community platform; Oversee sign-up, progress tracking, and feedback processes for programmes.

  • Lead on the iteration and delivery of a community engagement strategy, identifying opportunities for growth, and fostering meaningful connections among members.

  • Lead on the planning, coordination, and delivery of impactful online events each month, including managing logistics, collaborating with guest speakers, and facilitating special workshops.

  • Manage the onboarding process for new community members, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience on the community platform.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community members, addressing questions and providing support via the community platform and email.

  • Design and manage processes that engage community members, including creating posts, managing discussions, and maintaining regular communication to encourage participation.

Experience & Qualifications

This role requires someone with around 2 years experience managing online learning programmes and user experiences. We will prioritise applicants who have also been a part of building online learning programmes. We’d also love someone who has experience of remote working.

Traditional education and/or qualifications are not necessary at all. We’re not looking for an expert in all areas, but someone willing and motivated to learn on the job; who is invested in the long-term success of Force of Nature as a mission-driven organisation.

You must have the following experience:

Learning Journey Design and Engagement

  • Ability to create and execute community engagement strategies that foster interaction and growth.

  • Skills in designing structured learning journeys that engage and support participants at every stage.

  • Ability to create processes and workflows that support learning progression and participant retention.

  • Ability to implement and manage systems for onboarding, feedback, and engagement tracking.

  • Ability to think creatively about engaging community members and enhancing the learning journey.

Technical skills

  • Familiarity with community management platforms (e.g. Slack, Discord, Mighty Networks, or others).

  • Basic knowledge of tools for automation and process creation (e.g. Zapier, Airtable).

  • Proficiency in standard communication tools (e.g. email marketing platforms, video conferencing software).

Soft skills

  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks, events, and processes simultaneously.

  • Understanding how to create inclusive environments and accommodations for learners with diverse needs.

Additional Desirable Skills

  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) or tools for managing online trainings.

  • Knowledge of effective adult and youth learning principles (e.g. microlearning, active engagement).

  • Skills in using data analytics to inform strategy and improve participant experience.
