What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is seeking a dynamic Software Product manager to build products and services that meet the needs of our commercial customers including hospitality, retail, parking, and multifamily segments. You need to will understand the business strategy, the needs of station owners, channel partners/distributors and other partners who help enable charging and to build global solutions that help the business scale as the world electrifies every aspect of transportation. Internally, you will be collaborating with the Sales, Partners, Business Applications, UX, Marketing, Engineering and Product Management teams to help scale this rapidly growing market.
- Build a strategic roadmap that meets the overall objectives for our commercial audiences while balancing the needs of our drivers.
- Write detailed product requirements and end-to-end use cases to be used by engineering & design team and take product concepts from idea through shipping, measurement, and iteration.
- Work side by side with Engineering & UX designers to create industry leading, frictionless station host experiences.
- Collaborate with w/ engineering, product, marketing, and design teams to ensure alignment on roadmap and prioritization.
- Track market trends and competitive offerings, interface with customers and sales organization to drive product direction and ensure capabilities meet market needs and customer satisfaction goals.
- Drive the measurement, monitoring, and communication of performance metrics to enable leadership to act quickly & decisively
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree required; MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer facing product management role and experience in defining and delivering software products
- Track record of successfully delivering complex projects in cross-functional environments
- Experience with defining seamless consumer experiences
- Well-developed understanding of getting to high impact improvements using qualitative and quantitative approaches
- Bias towards action, even in areas of uncertainty, with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones, to get things done
- Comfortable using data to inform priorities and evaluate impact of initiatives.
- Test-and-learn methodology awareness and experience.
- Background in electric vehicle and/or automotive industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about ChargePoint and our mission

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $70,000 to $181,124. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
