SUMMARY


Project manager will take on the management of key client projects. Project management responsibilities include delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress


Create and Maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • - including managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications, federal and state regulations

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and Maintain Relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and Maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with a multinational team under demanding timelines

WORK ENVIRONMENT


This position works in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.

1-2 years of proven working experience as a project manager in a production environment
PMP Certification is strongly preferred.
Ability to execute multi-disciplinary projects requiring cross functional teams within the company
Decision making ability and leadership skills
Time management and organization skills


DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Experience in Heavy Duty and/or EV automotive industry
  • Experience with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards in Heavy Duty and/or EV automotive industry
  • Experience with design verification planning and reporting on components/systems
  • Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and countermeasure identification skills related to vehicle systems
  • Working knowledge of: FMEA, 8D problem solving, Six Sigma, DFM/DFA and Lean Principles
