Customer Service Specialist
Job Summary:
BYD Customer Service Department is seeking a responsible and communicative Customer Service Specialist to handle the spare parts business in the United States and other related requirement from our customers. Candidate will be based at the BYD Compton, CA Plant and will report to the manager of aftermarket parts & service
This individual must be extremely organized with attention to detail, hardworking, and dedicated to providing the highest level of quality and timeliness in the industry. We are seeking a person who is highly responsible, and great communicative. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and basic ability to operate ERP or WMS
Candidate must demonstrate the following to be considered:
Responsibilities
- Good communication with customer, and maintains customer relationships
- The internal initiator of parts business. Receive and Sort customer requests, assign to corresponding Co-worker.
- Offer the Parts info to customer and help customer place orders smoothly
- Keeps good records of customer parts orders and traceable
- Ability to resolves customer issues.
- Daily parts order status report
- Works with Parts and Service team on customer business related to parts
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum (1) years of experience in customer service within related or relevant industries.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills. Excellent customer service and prospecting skills with the ability to track task progress throughout
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Self-starter with high level of initiative, a strong sense of urgency and ownership
- Ability to multi-task and work quickly and accurate
- Experience on ERP or WMS system is a huge plus
