Flight Test Instrumentation Program Manager

What You'll Do:
Archer Aviation is seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation Program Manager to oversee and coordinate instrumentation activities for our flight test program. This role ensures efficient planning, installation, and maintenance of flight test instrumentation across multiple aircraft while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and flight test teams.
- Develop and maintain the flight test instrumentation installation schedule for multiple test aircraft.
- Coordinate with the aircraft build team to sequence instrumentation work during manufacturing at multiple facilities.
- Assist Instrumentation Engineers by directing daily technician tasks.
- Manage and prioritize requests from design engineers for instrumentation installation on active flight vehicles.
- Work closely with flight test and aircraft maintenance teams to troubleshoot instrumentation issues and minimize aircraft downtime.
- Track project performance against the plan, identifying variances and ensuring critical path tasks stay on schedule.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders across the organization, providing updates on project milestones, risks, and issues.
What You Need:
- Bachelors in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience in flight test instrumentation, aerospace project management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with aircraft systems, instrumentation hardware, and flight test procedures is a plus.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $180,000 - $225,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
