Job Description
Apex Clean Energy is looking for a detail-oriented Scheduling & Settlements Analyst to support the timely scheduling and settlement of Apex's operating assets. This role ensures compliance with ISO business rules, assists with automation and reporting for multiple ISOs, and collaborates with Asset Management Operations, internal stakeholders, and third parties to manage daily activities, resolve issues, and improve processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working with Asset Management and Operations to ensure daily scheduling activities for Apex-owned projects are completed accurately and within specified timelines.
- Participate in ISO training and maintain a strong understanding of ISO business manuals to ensure that all scheduling activities are compliant with market rules.
- Maintain daily settlements and reporting processes for Apex-owned assets for multiple ISO’s, including automation of reporting functions and tools.
- Monitor daily revenue reporting for any errors, work with Asset Managers, Accounting and third parties, including ISO’s to resolve issues.
- Support the development of new reports and processes in multiple ISO’s, including analysis of large data sets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Knowledge of US wholesale power markets (ERCOT, MISO, PJM, SPP, CAISO) and history of working with operating projects in those markets.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with scheduling, settlements or energy management for renewable assets.
- High level of proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Python (snowflake)
- Strong attention to detail and ability work to specific deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated success at meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage many tasks, people, and projects simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and comfort being flexible, adaptable, and solutions oriented.

Works primarily traditional office hours in an indoor office environment. Flexible work hours allowed when work duties and business operations permit.
